Effective: October 10, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Invincibolt Locks LLC (“we,” “us”) collects, uses and shares personal information through invinciboltlocks.com (the “site”), and the choices you have. We are a small Kentucky business. We sell the InvinciBolt Lock to customers in the United States, and this site is meant for US visitors.
We use personal information to:
We send you emails about your order and your account. We send marketing email only if you sign up for it, and every marketing email will include a way to unsubscribe.
Many of our customers use our locks on empty buildings. We treat the shipping and installation addresses you give us as confidential and use them only for the purposes described in this policy.
We share personal information only with the service providers that help us run our business, only as needed for them to do that work, and as described below. We do not sell it.
We may also share information:
Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. We group the cookies on this site as follows.
These are needed for the site and store to work and to keep them secure. They are always on.
| Source | Examples | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| WooCommerce and WordPress | woocommerce_cart_hash, woocommerce_items_in_cart, wp_woocommerce_session_*, wordpress_logged_in_*, wordpress_sec_* |
Remember your cart, keep you logged in and complete checkout |
| Square | Set by Square’s payment form | Process payments securely and prevent fraud |
| Wordfence | Wordfence security cookies | Block attacks and protect logins |
| Google reCAPTCHA | _GRECAPTCHA |
Tell people apart from automated spam on our forms |
| LiteSpeed Cache | _lscache_vary |
Serve the correct version of a cached page |
| Complianz | cmplz_* |
Remember your cookie choices |
reCAPTCHA collects information about your device and how you use the site and sends it to Google to assess whether you are a person. This site is protected by reCAPTCHA, and the Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service apply.
These are set only if you accept analytics cookies in the cookie banner.
| Source | Examples | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Google Analytics 4 | _ga, _ga_* |
Count visits and see how visitors use the site, in aggregate |
We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used. We do not use it to show you ads. Google processes this information under its own privacy policy. You can also install Google’s opt-out browser add-on.
These are set only if you accept marketing cookies in the cookie banner, except that a YouTube video you choose to play can set YouTube’s cookies, as explained below.
| Source | Examples | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| WooCommerce order attribution | sbjs_* |
Record how a visitor found the site (for example, a search engine or a link) and attach it to an order |
| YouTube (Google) | YSC, VISITOR_INFO1_LIVE, PREF and others set by YouTube | Play our installation and product videos in the page |
Our videos use YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode. On the home page, the install video shows a still image until you press play; the image comes from YouTube’s image server, which receives your IP address but sets no cookies. Pressing play is your choice to load the video from YouTube. Elsewhere on the site, a YouTube video loads only when you click to play it. Once a video loads, YouTube may collect information about your device and viewing under Google’s privacy policy. You can also watch our videos directly on YouTube.
When you first visit the site, our cookie banner (powered by Complianz) asks whether you accept analytics and marketing cookies. Nothing in those categories runs until you choose. You can change your choice at any time with the “Manage consent” link on the site. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a refusal of analytics and marketing cookies. You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings; blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop the cart and checkout from working.
We do not sell your personal information, and we have not sold it in the past 12 months. We do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising (targeted ads based on your activity across other websites). Analytics and marketing cookies run only with your consent, and you can withdraw that consent at any time as described in “Managing your choices.”
| Information | How long we keep it |
|---|---|
| Orders, payments and related records | As long as needed for tax, accounting and warranty purposes, generally seven years after the order |
| Customer accounts | Until you ask us to delete your account, or after three years without a login or order, whichever comes first, except the order records above |
| Contact form entries | Up to 24 months after your message |
| Warranty claims and support emails | For the life of the warranty on your lock, then up to three years |
| Security and server logs | Generally no longer than 90 days |
| Google Analytics data | No longer than 14 months |
We may keep information longer when the law requires it or when it is needed to resolve a dispute or enforce our terms.
We use security measures suited to a small online store, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections, a website firewall and malware scanning, login protection and payment processing by Square so that card numbers never reach our site. No website can be made completely secure. If a security breach affects your personal information, we will notify you as required by law.
Several US states give their residents rights over their personal information. Some of these laws apply only to businesses above certain size thresholds. Whether or not a particular law applies to us, we will honor the following requests from any customer or site visitor in the United States:
To make a request, email [email protected] with “Privacy Request” in the subject line, or write to us at the address below. We will confirm your identity before acting, usually by matching the information you give us with what we hold, such as your email address and an order number. An authorized agent may make a request for you with your signed permission, and we may ask you to confirm the request directly.
We will respond within 45 days. If we need more time, we will tell you why, and we will finish within another 45 days. If we turn down your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision with “Privacy Appeal” in the subject line. We will answer your appeal within 60 days and explain the outcome.
We will not charge you more, give you a lesser service or treat you differently for making a privacy request.
This site is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. You must be at least 18 to place an order. If you believe a child has given us personal information, email [email protected] and we will delete it.
We sell and ship only within the United States. If you visit the site from another country, your information will be processed in the United States.
The site links to other websites, such as YouTube. Their own privacy policies apply to information you give them.
We may update this policy. We will post the new version here with a new effective date. If we make a material change to how we use personal information we already have, we will tell you before the change applies, by email or with a notice on the site.
